This program will review recent case law addressing the legal sufficiency of a CRN. Suggested best practices for completion of a CRN better able to survive legal challenge will be provided.
- The history of insurance bad faith and purpose of fs section 624.155 – first-party bad faith
- A review of the cases interpreting the legal sufficiency/requirements for a valid civil remedy notice under section 624.155
- Practice tips and practical considerations for completion and filing of a CRN to better meet a legal sufficiency challenge
Presenter
Lee Gunn practices with the Tampa law firm of Gunn Law Group, P.A., prosecuting insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, medical malpractice, serious injury, and wrongful death matters. In 1982, Lee graduated from UF Law and was inducted into the UF Leadership Hall of Fame.
