Tractor-Trailer Accident Reconstruction & Related Technology - QForensics

  This program addresses topics ranging from the basics of investigating and reconstructing a collision involving a tractor-trailer, to a tutorial on technology that may be encountered during the course of the investigation.  This presentation is given from the perspective of an engineer and accident reconstructionist with more than twenty years of experience in the field.

It is intended to educate attorneys regarding some of the technical aspects of a commercial vehicle injury case.  Areas explored during this course include gathering evidence from the accident scene, documenting and evaluating vehicle damage, brake operation and inspection, 3D laser mapping, drone documentation and mapping, engine control module (ECM) and airbag control module (ACM) download and analysis, GPS data analysis, onboard video evaluation, perception / reaction, photogrammetry, as well as construction zone issues.  The objective of the course is to give both new and experienced attorneys information that they can immediately utilize in their practice.
